At AK Fitness Studio, fitness is more than a goal, it’s a journey of healing, growth, and connection.
Founded by Amadu Koroma, our studio is a sanctuary where physical strength and emotional resilience intertwine. We’ve created a space where every individual feels seen, supported, and empowered to move forward at their own pace.
Our offerings — including personal training, small-group classes, online coaching, and emotional wellbeing sessions — are grounded in mindful, intentional practice. We honor each person’s unique path, meeting them where they are, with compassion, care, and presence.
Here, small wins are celebrated, movement is purposeful, and every session is an invitation to reconnect with your body, breath, and deeper self.
Our mission is to create a safe, empowering space where individuals can reconnect with their bodies, strengthen their minds, and grow through movement.
We are here to support you, not just physically, but emotionally — through intentional coaching, structured programs, and a deeply human approach to fitness.
We believe every person deserves to feel seen, safe, and supported on their journey toward lasting change.
True strength isn’t about power or perfection , it’s about the courage to show up with heart.
At AK Fitness, we value:
💛 Presence over perfection
🤝 Community over comparison
🌱 Progress over pressure
✨ Connection — with your body, your breath, and others
🛡️ Safety — emotionally, physically, and relationally
🌬️ Presence — over performance or pressure
This isn’t just a fitness studio: it’s a place to come home to yourself.
About the Founder – Amadu KoromaAmadu Koroma is more than a coach — he’s a guide, mentor, and compassionate leader who brings heart and humanity to every session. A former semi-professional soccer player and certified strength coach, Amadu is often described as a therapeutic facilitator, gifted in helping individuals express their inner voice and reconnect with their true selves.
Born in Sierra Leone and raised in Australia after arriving as a child refugee, Amadu’s life story is rooted in resilience. His personal journey through hardship, displacement, and identity reclamation has shaped a unique perspective on fitness — one that prioritises transformation from within.
Amadu has extensive experience working with diverse communities. He has served as a strength coach for South Melbourne FC, a youth coordinator for Brimbank City Council, and a children’s coach for the nonprofit organization OneBall. These roles reflect his lifelong commitment to empowering individuals across all stages of life through mentorship, movement, and support.
His training philosophy is deeply holistic. It's not just about physical performance, but about cultivating self-awareness, emotional safety, and long-term wellbeing. He meets clients where they are — whether they’re recovering from injury, navigating mental barriers, or seeking a deeper connection to themselves. Each session is a balanced blend of structure and intuition, science and empathy, discipline and understanding.
Amadu views every session as a moment to build self-trust. Each session becomes a space for personal evolution, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. He believes that everyone, no matter their starting point, has the right to feel empowered in their body and supported throughout their journey.
His mission is clear: to help people build lasting strength, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually — through intentional, compassionate coaching. One small win at a time.
